It only took a day for the dragon to be defeated! SharkLord controls a portal to the end, and has defeated the dragon a few times now!
There seems to be a major glitch with leaving The End, where all experience you have is lost. Temporarily mods are teleporting people out of it after a victory to save experience. I heard rumors that Zeeno got to level 711 after the victory last night, WOW! I'd suggest getting started finding your portal, and hopefully the dev team can fix that portal glitch.
